Welcome! I’m Sarasota Green. My friends call me Sara.

 

I’ve been writing my whole life, and I just began my journey into book publishing. I fell in love with the ocean as a child, the Beat Poets in college, and I was raised around music. I wanted to write a story honoring my favorite things, and I hope I’ve done them justice in Free Love Beach.

I’m a sucker for a good romance novel, but I also like stories where the protagonist saves herself. Right now my focus seems to be on female characters who go against the grain for independence’s sake, and male characters who defy old, worn-out stereotypes. 

​

I like small towns, indie bookstores, live music, and painting the ocean sky after sunset. I sometimes drop into to Facebook and see what’s going on, but you can find me lately hanging out at sarasotagreen.bsky.social.
